what is the difference between spring former and wire bender
What's difference between spring former and wire bender?
The wire bender can substitute for a spring former when the workpiece is longer or symmetrical. It offers more space for bending long workpieces and, with two bending heads, can efficiently bend both ends of symmetrical workpieces simultaneously.
The wire bender is not equipped with coiling tools. For workpieces such as torsion springs, double torsion springs, tension springs, or any other items that involve coils, the spring former is the better choice. Its coiling tools can coil at all angles and bend using various tools.
